Pictures of The New House

We moved in to a new place at the beginning of the month. Now we've finally taken a few pictures!

This is the dining room, next to the kitchen.

This is the kitchen.

Another view of the kitchen/dining room with Michael's table.

This is Raymond's room.

Michael laying in his bed ...

while his brother plays with his toys!

Another picture of Michael's room, with his Blues Clues curtains.

This is the hall bathroom.

And this is the master bathroom.

You can see the living room ... behind Michael

Another picture of the boys in the living room.

Well that's all for now. We still need to take pictures of the master bedroom, the guest room, and the outside of the house.

Galpin Boys Playing Together

Now that Raymond is very mobile and can even stand up (with something to hold on to,) he and Michael play together a lot.

Sometimes Michael will even go through the house saying "Ray Ray! Ray Ray!' looking for his little brother.

Of course Michael is still the king of block stacking:

And of funny faces...

Raymond sticks to making cute faces!

Crystal's Birthday

Yesterday was Crystal's birthday. I got her a birthday cake from Icing on the Cake in Los Gatos.

It was a really good cake -- banana cake with cream cheese frosting. Crystal is quite the cake expert and gave it high marks. Everything at the bakery looked and smelled really good -- we'll definitely have to try some more things from there.

4th of July

I haven't blogged on here in a long time. I've been lazily putting most of my pics on Flickr. Below are some pics from the 4th of July. Michael, Jr. and I took my nieces and my brother-in-law Thatcher to the fireworks in downtown San Jose. It was a great fireworks show. Having a fireworks show in the downtown area had a couple of interesting effects. Reverbations from all the buildings made it especially loud, and all the explosions were reflected brilliantly on the buildings.

I took this picture of Michael with my cell phone.

Yeah this picture was taken with my cell phone, too.

Here's a better picture of Torrie. This was taken a few days later, at Commanche Park near our house.

And here's Callie...

And of course last not but not least, here's Lynsie. I can't help but think about how much she's grown up lately -- and of course that just makes me feel old!

Here's Michael, Jr. at the park, too.
